After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:
- Explain patient evaluation, assessment, preparation including consent/informed consent and pre and post treatment care.
- Discuss the action and common uses of neuromodulators
- Identify the contraindications, side effects and precautions of neuromodulator use.
- Describe the packaging, storage, reconstitution and dilution of various neuromodulators.
- Identify tools and supplies needed as well as tips to avoid complications when injecting neuromodulators.
- Describe, discuss and demonstrate novice injection techniques of most common areas of the face treated with neuromodulators.
